As previously mentioned, there have been great technological advances in the field of lithiasis. One of the main advances has been the possibility of accessing the kidney endoscopically with flexible ureterorenoscopes and smaller, more efficient LASERs.
The emergence of this technology allows the treatment of renal and ureteral lithiasis that were difficult to manage with other treatments.
